The Opt Out Village is a lie! clearly that one man made contact with the outside world! A breach of his contract! and yet, it sounds as though he yet lives in this town! Besides, if his health problems (breathing) and lack of friends isn't personal information what is!?

I agree that the onion is at best mildly funny sometimes. But, you gotta wonder how many people still take these "reports" for fact and how many of those morans (mispelling intended) acctually did this just to see if the Google truck would show up.
