We know this is a scripted show, right? With multiple takes, and smoke machines (for volcano segments) rubber snakes (for him to fake-out at), men in bear suits (for him to be 'chased` by).
Any Bear Grylls media is scripted, false and fake, and if you don`t believe me, just google. The guy`s a stupid poo-eating phony.

well why would the SAS climb mount everest if they were gonna take the easy route where there are ladders up the really hard bits. There's more than one way to the top... and with the SAS being the SAS, they probably took the hardest route. The Marines and Navy SEALs don`t touch the SAS

Did you know that the people who climb Mt. Everest have turned it into a dump? It's so "easy" now with oxygen tanks and all the equipment that a ton of people do it and the camps are just filthy.
