Being made by Tim Burton, this film would hve been a country mile better than the lame Superman Returns or the lamentable Lois and Clark.
As for the Nic Cage pic, his hair would have been styled for another role. He'd have simply been in for a costume fitting/concept try out.

Oh thank good this thing never got made! I mean people may bitch about Superman Returns, but this just goes to prove the horror we so narrowly averted!!!
