ignoring all the dodgy manga/anime and lack of social skills most of these room owners possess, somebody has gotta agree with me, #9's roosterpit/techbay kinda computer chair setup rocked!

What this leaves out is that most of these kids haven't left their homes for five years and their mothers have to bring them food on a tray and leave it outside their door.

Let put the amount of Manga in perspective ... some stories have like 10 - 20 volumes ... so if you enjoy 15 different stories that's like 150 - 300 books ... it does not take long to add up

@ thegnap: Otaku does not mean "anime loving person not from Japan," it means extreme nerd who, usually, is very socially awkward. And being too obsessed with anything is really bad, be it anime or football or whatever. The thing is, foreigners who are obsessed with anime and all those things that aren't of their culture usually are because they are obsessed with Japan in general. And these people are almost always the creepy "Japanophiles," so it`s no wonder why anime obsession has a bad rap. Not saying that`s who you are, but if you aren`t you are the minority.
