Well to anyone questioning whether hypnotherapy is effective or not i see it like this: A real doctor probably wouldn't recommend it, hence perhaps you should listen to a medical professional instead of an organization that issues licenses to cats. And yes, "Alternative" medicine is a joke, much like davymid said the stuff that does work is what we call regular old medicine. Most of the other stuff is just idiots selling you dreams, and with any luck perhaps some placebo effect.

Very true, davymid. Or as Richard Dawkins said, "There is no alternative medicine. There is only medicine that works and medicine that doesn't work."
