Can not the same be said for all parodies? For parodies will themselves fall into genres to be parodied, and parodies of parodies can easily arise. But parodies of those parodies of parodies will come about soon enough, to the point that what was once a parody and what once was serious is blurred, and original identity is lost. |

I love how he makes fun of song structures, when he himself is guilty of recycling the same formula for each one of his "hilarious" songs. Here's that formula:
Simple beat
Freestyle about the subject (make it awkward)
Swear profusely over the bridge of simple beat.
Make off color comment
Swear some more
Interrupt flow of song to make a bad joke
More swearing.

I've been saying this for ages. "Wow, I've heard that same type of song already." and "If you've heard one country song made today, you've heard them all." F*ck stupid music like that. I'd rather listen to Bob Dylan. At least his songs have meaning for f*ck sakes. |
