we had a group called Haunters for Hooters and they raised a sh*t ton of money through many haunted houses last season.

"Trailleadr. You are being condescending. In fact, the CDC's 2006 mortality breakdown shows that heart disease is the number one cause of death in the USA with 631,636 deaths and malignant neoplasms (cancer) are second with 559,888 (cumulative). Breats cancer accounted for 41,210 deaths in 2006. So yeah, it's a problem, but have some context before you speak.

BTW, I've known breast cancer non-survivors and heart disease survivors and non-survivors and have had cancer myself, so thanks for walking and going to bat for money for someone else."

I'm sorry, but what's up your a$$? Did you read his statement at all? Are you stupid?

Not sure what you're driving at here, unless you just felt you needed to give me crap. I never said it was a "ranked number X" killer. I simply stated that it's important and needs to be addressed. I'm not comparing it to other ailments. When I said
'and have limited research toward a cure or little desire to find a cure compared to something else'
I meant things like putting funding toward what would really happen in the event of a zombie apocalypse (as an absurd example).

On a lighter note, hurray for boobies!

"And anyways, I always thought that was considered first place...guess it's done differently in Canada :P"

First base is serious kissing.
Second base is "petting" above the waist.
Third base is "petting" below the waist, and oral sex.
And a Home Run is full-on sexual intercourse.

We had an awareness rally in College Station called "Save the Ta-tas". This is really not so different. Its a way to get younger people involved, as breast cancer strikes younger people too.

"not really apropriate , at all."

I suggest you look the other way then. Every October I attend a "walk for the cure" with my wife and there's far worse than this. Besides breast cancer can strike anyone, males as well as females. I'd much prefer to have massive awareness of a serious disease though some clever and perhaps provocative advertisements than have hardly anyone take notice of it, and have limited research toward a cure or little desire to find a cure compared to something else.

Maybe you'll feel different when you know someone who's diagnosed, or though I hope it doesn't happen, you become diagnosed with breast cancer.

Not trying to seem condescending, just saying.
