Batmanners> I'm against any hero worship of ANY president but the video that you posted here isn't the same thing. That was 1. In a church and 2. They were praying for/blessing him not brainwashing school children with some crappy Obama Propaganda theater show. The difference I see here that upsets me is that in church you choose to put your children there and you're choosing that message for your children, in a public school system you don't get to choose what your children are exposed to and when a teacher starts bringing politics into the classroom that is wrong. I know it's inevitable that with any human being acting as a teacher some of their opinion will come in to play but that was blatant political brainwashing. Be it Bush, Obama, Democrat or Republican politics have NO place in a grade school. VERY bad form on the teacher's part and I would be surprised if there weren't a few parents who were LIVID about this. |

you know why racism is still happening? because of stuff like this. people can't just say "no one gives a sh*t what color you are." they have to keep reminding everyone of our 'differences' so no one can forget. i am certainly aware that yes, there are racist pr*cks out there, but i'd like to believe that most people have gotten over themselves.it doesn't matter what color skin you have. if you're not good at something, give up (and stop brainwashing the children). |

Of course this is because he's black. Blacks are in ecstasy over having "one of their own" in charge. Many of them view politics as us vs. whitey. Obama got 96% of the black vote. Blacks on the whole have no problem idolizing Obama.And then you have the guilt-ridden whites who feel all fuzzy and warm inside that we finally got our first black president (what are his policies again?). They're too afraid to be called racist to question blacks' deification of Obama. It's really a messed up situation we're in. It seems like any questioning of Obama is suspected as racist. Joe Wilson has been mentioned in so many editorials on racism in the past month it's ridiculous. Blacks. Get over yourselves. We're all EQUAL in America. Even though your ANCESTORS suffered in the past, you do not hold special privileges over the rest of us. Whites. Stop feeling guilty.
