Monday, October 12, 2009 9:36:31 AM I don't care if he was only going 100mph (160km/h), that car passed him like he was riding a freakin' tricycle. If I was going 100mph (which isn't slow) and someone passed me like a bullet, I would probably jizz a little. |

Monday, October 12, 2009 3:13:38 AM was the guy holding the camera having a bit of a sly tug ? That would explain the strange noises he makes. |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 11:10:29 PM You can tell the guy filming speeds up as he passes the car in front of him and the speedo only shows 150 kph. I'm guessing the noise he was making was actually a reaction the fact that he was out of gas. |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 5:53:56 PM 160 km/hr is a little fast for me, but on the Coquihalla highway here in B.C. where the speed limit is 110 km/hr, it's not uncommon for people to do over 140. I myself keep it around 130-140 but I still get passed a lot so 160 isn't that big of a deal. The other car? Yea, he's going fast. Was passed one time by a little yellow sports car going close to that fast. Not quite as fast, but close. Crazy. |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 4:35:22 PM 160 KILOMETERS per hour is only like a couple of feet per minute or so. That's why the Europeans can't tell time, f-dup metric system.
Yea and 160 American dollars is like 3 Euros. Anyway, this is another description fail, as he's obviously going 160kph. If I could take a guess he's on the autobahn in Germany. But what about the other car. How fast was IT going? I'd guess it at at least 250. |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 3:09:49 PM 160Mi/hr is 257Km/hr 160Km/hr is 099Mi/hrThe highway that they are on is called the Autobahn, there is no speedlimit but most people stick to around 120Mi/hr. Learn your facts before you get all hyped up.

Sunday, October 11, 2009 1:46:04 PM @duffytolerNot only that, but the metric system is the number one cause of drug abuse in Europe; It also causes computer crashes, break failure, nervous spasms, slow growing grass, insomnia, obesity, daltonism and bad breath. |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 9:01:53 AM Fwoggie - have you got some sort of invulnerability bubble going? GATSO's all over the place dude. Where have you been cruising at 90mph without getting ticketed? Private race track? |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 9:00:19 AM Ok the camera car may only be doing just under 100mph (once it's sped up to overtake) but the 'vette has to be going a lot quicker, Im guessing upwards of 150.. Which is a bit risky, considering he's very rapidly closing on someone about to overtake, who, thankfully, did check his mirrors. |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 9:00:13 AM I understand that it was in KPH but the passer was still going incredibly fast. From the look of it, it was at least double. So... 160Kph x 2 = 320 KPH which is like what? 200 MPH |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 8:42:38 AM Jereth got to it first, yup, kph. First clue is the fact that the car only has a single arc of numbers. Also note the reason why this was safe. The driver taking the video was only over to the left long enough to overtake the car in front of him and then moved back over. That is required by law in Germany (presuming this is on the Autobahn in an unrestricted section). None of this hanging out in the overtake lane crap. You move over to overtake, move back, period. |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 8:37:16 AM Not 160MPH but 160KPH. 160KPH = 99.42MPH. Still fast but not as dangerous as most of us Americans think. This is just a bit above average Autobahn speeds (120 - 140KPH or 75 to about 88MPH) in Germany where on most major highway arteries between large cities there is no speed limit. So, the guy getting passed as he did is not that rare of an occurrence.LJ |

Sunday, October 11, 2009 6:55:26 AM He's driving like an idiot, and still manages to film it at the same time? We'll probably be seeing him at work soon. Only a matter of time...(I work in a funeral home) |
