Sunday, October 18, 2009 2:42:28 AM Anyone knows most idiot kids will do as they are told to do... They are like dogs, they want to please you. You can fill their head with any garbage and make em act like idiots. That's why I want to have a million kids so I can brainwash them into doing retarded stuff. Cause they will. |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 11:23:56 PM I don't think there are "so many extremists" that it doesn't matter. Some just get more attention than others. Look at this site for example, Westboro Baptist Church is represented 6 times on this site under their own name, and many more times with a title that just generically calls them "Christians". They're a <100 person Church. They represent 0.000005% of Christianity, yet they are used as the representative of Christianity on this site (roughly, using search results) 15% of the time. That's FOXesque levels of bias if this site purported any neutrality. |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 10:59:41 PM FlameOfUdun: Yes, some of us have friends who are the "real" Christians, the people actually deserving of the title. The people who are gentle, kind, and understanding in their faith, and not these screaming wingnuts at the sides of the roads with matted hair and cardboard signs screaming that anyone other than themselves will burn in a mythical lake of fire. |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 9:30:29 PM I honestly hope that the readers of IAB don't think that what is posted on this site is anywhere near what we normal Christians think or believe. |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 9:29:39 PM 1) Bible Basher is a term that means the same as bible thumping. I've heard it way more often the first way. Maybe thumping is an Americanism?2) I agree this is a horrible thing to do to your children in general. You have to give them freedom or the choices they make are worthless. 3) Scroll down to Camp Quest in particular, but all are sickening. |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 5:32:42 PM I don't think it's possible to have your child grow up completely unbiased... but coming from a Christian upbringing with very VERY accepting parents, I can say that it is possible to teach your child to analyze everything around them. |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 4:29:11 PM ...may be its only remaining means of survival. How I wish it were illegal.
I may be an atheist, but I'm also a liberal, and I believe that parents should have the right to teach their kids anything they want up to a certain age. This video represents the lowest tiers of society. Its not mainstream and it never will be. I think we're safe. ... like I said before, its only a matter of time. Give it a few decades and we'll see a majority abandoning religion. |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 4:00:58 PM "If religion were true, its followers would not try to bludgeon their young into an artificial conformity; but would merely insist on their unbending quest for truth..."- H. P. Lovecraft Religion would not be forced on the young and intellectually underdeveloped if the parents felt religion would be their childrens' natural conclusion in this modern day of science and understanding. Given how ridiculous and impossible religion pales in comparison to science, raising children into this thing people call religion and I call sociable insanity may be its only remaining means of survival. How I wish it were illegal. |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 2:59:21 PM Give me a drating break! If these kids were doing it because they wanted to, that would be a different story. They are being brainwashed by these "parents" who are using them. If I asked that little boy what an abortion was he wouldn't know how to answer... I felt god in his hands...oh drating be real! |

Saturday, October 17, 2009 2:56:37 PM Ohhhhhhhhhhhhkayyyy...Freedom of religion, fine. Leave the kids out of it, let them make their own decisions. Don't push the kid into something, let them wander towards it themselves. Religion is misinterpreted constantly, symbols are assumed to be what they are not, and severely outdated scripture is ripped completely out of context on a daily basis. Let's leave the kids out of it. :/ |
