Most of you dumb drats have never even been to Texas. Honestly it's not perfect, but it is far from the worst state. I've been there quite a few times and can't complain, which is a lot more than I can say for a lot of places in the US... |

I'm from texas, I'm libertarian, don't ahte guns but choose not to own them-I prefer the baseball bat technique, I'm not a christian, most of the oil companies are HERE- gues where gasoline comes from, college & cost of living is cheaper to no loss of quality of life, everythings bigger in Texas (that includes boobs), and oh hai recession that JUST started effecting us and is now almost over! Guess whose housing market stayed pretty strong, I wonder if that had anything to do with our economy. Texas is the only state that in the fall and spring you wear a parka one day and flip flops the next,I'm GLAD we're not snowed in for two whole seasons. Don't get me wrong, I'm married to a Minnesotan, and I love minnesota too, but part of being a Texan is taking pride in your home state, and taking the bad with the good. We have ghettos just like every other state, and political deviants and other issues, but I love this place and wouldn't give it up
